Kia ora Lily,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your halloween shaped sentences. That was super clever of you. I don't really think about Halloween much, though my daughter is heading to a halloween party and has been working on a costume. She is going to be a pirate. They aren't trick or treating but just having fun with friends. I'm sure lollies will be involved though.
Did you know that traditionally Halloween was a time to remember those that have passed before us, such as family and loved ones. It is followed by All Saints Day. I think it's become more of a dress up time than a remembrance day now. When I was young it didn't really exist in New Zealand. I think shops have worked out they can make money out of it now.
Enjoy being a witch!
